About This Site and Editorial Standards
V2Ray client guides, open-source ecosystem, and responsible use.
About This Site
V2Ray Download Official Site is an independent guide to V2Ray clients, with resources in multiple languages covering installation, subscription imports, and everyday settings for v2rayN, v2rayNG, and v2flyNG. We organize traceable download links to help users choose the right installer for their platform. The site name does not imply an official affiliation with upstream projects. New users can start with the user guide.
Project V and Related Core Projects
Project V is an open-source proxy software ecosystem best known for V2Ray. The V2Fly community continues V2Ray’s development, while Xray grew from related code and follows a different development path. Core software handles protocol processing and traffic forwarding; graphical clients handle configuration and management. Some configuration concepts overlap, but feature support varies, so compatibility cannot be determined by client name alone.
How We Maintain Downloads and Tutorials
We maintain download links by checking their source, destination, and platform compatibility rather than assuming that the “latest version” is right for everyone. Tutorials are based on reproducible steps in graphical interfaces; testing notes include the platform and settings used. When an interface changes, we update the affected steps first. If something differs, check the FAQ, follow the tutorial to narrow down the issue, and note the client, operating system, and exact message shown.
Scope and User Responsibility
This site provides information for learning about software and protocols. It does not provide proxy nodes or subscription services, or guarantee connectivity. Before configuring a client, verify the service source and your authorization, and keep subscription URLs secure. Users are responsible for complying with local laws and regulations and applicable network policies, and for their own installation, configuration, and use.
